FAQ's
1. How do I Book My session?
Call or email me at the number/email address above. I will then send you an invoice via Pay Pal for the $25.00 plus tax session fee once we decide which date will work for you. The $25.00 session fee is Non Refundable.
2. My Family is really fun and we want photos with out Team jersey's on, can we do that?
Yes, you sure can. This session is all about you and your family. My style of photography is all about the REAL person. You can wear your jeans and jerseys, you can bring your shoes, but you won't wear them in the session and have fun. Hint: Noone wears shoes in our sessions, they just get in the way!!
3. We don't want all the photos with Christmas things, but could we maybe have something in one?
Yes, this year I decided not to make the session all about Christmas after taking a survey and my only personal preference. This way you don't feel the need to put your photos away until the following year. However; we do have some Christmas items that we can include.
4. How and when will we choose and pay for the additional package that we choose?
A few days after your session, I will email you to let you know your previews are ready under a password protected gallery. You will have 2 days to place your order from that gallery and then I will order them. You can choose which package you want, or additional prints/products at that time also.
5. Will additional prints/products be at the regular prices?
No, for this special we have created special pricing for prints and/or products when ordered with your package.
6. Can I just get the image on a CD and order my own prints.
We do offer Digital Files on A CD for $125 each but they are not available for this offer. Also, we take pride in our Copyrighted work and it is important to us how our images are used and printed for our clients. So, we prefer to create the work our clients desire and send them to our trusted professinal labs for processing.

We love our "Love Story Sessions" We are changing our style and trying new things for The Love Story Sessions. Although our sessions are Romantic and Loving, we are also working toward a more Sexy, Playful Love Story Sessions, which is what some of our Engagement Couples ask for. June is the month that we try and update some of our styles and/or sessions.

You can book your Fresh Face Love Story Session at a HUGE Discount as we update our Studio Samples. Due to the fact these are Model Sessions for the studio, there are restrictions and requirements. Please please read full details below before booking:

Restrictions and Requirements for Fresh Face Love Story Sessions:

1. Sessions are designed by the Photographer (the style and location is up to the Photographer only)
2. A Model Release must be signed.
3. All Sessions will be on location in late afternoon due to the weather.
4. Sessions must be booked/paid prior to confirmation of session.
5. NO REFUNDS
6. Sessions will be 30-60 minutes in Length.

I love mommie and me portraits because they are a great way to capture the beautiful relationship of a mom and her children, generational portraits with mom, grandma & granddaughter/children. Alter Ego Photo Sessions

I have had a great response since we introduced Alter Ego Photo Shoots. There is a dormant personality in each of us that is waiting for the moment to unleash its' vitality to the world. Alter Ego Photo Shoots allow that persona to let its walls down & give voice to the inner you. Our Alter Ego Photos start at $499 and range from a simple concepts with 2 different looks/clothing to a more detailed, elaborant concepts. Each session can last up to 4 hours depending on the concept, clothing and hair changes, etc. Alter Ego Photo shoots are designed to be an Artistic Product. I have include a FAQ below that hopefully will answer a few of your questions:

1. Are the Alter Ego sessions for locations? Currently, we only offer Alter Ego photo shoots for the studio

2. What is the amount needed to book an Alter Ego Session? Depending on the type, concept of session, etc. your minimum requirement to book your session $150 Non Refundable Deposit. The final payment is due 2 weeks prior to the session.

3. Do your makeup sessions include a makeup artist? Unless we are offering a special promotion, Makeup Artists are not included in the pricing. We do have makeup artist that you can contact.

4. How long does the session last? The minium amount of time for a Alter Ego Session is 3 hours.

5. Is a consultation required? Yes, in order to discuss your concept for your session, I do require a pre session consulation.

The Best time to have Newborn's photographed

I love photographing newborns. They are beautiful works of art. I love to capture their little bottoms in the air, thier beautiful feet and all there special features. The best time to photograph a newborn is at 2 days up to 2 weeks of age. At this stage, they are mostly in the fetal position as they were in mommies womb. They sleep deeply at this stage. At 3 weeks of age, they don't sleep as much and the fetal position is replaced by flinging arms and legs with wide open eyes. Our pricing for newborns is up to 4 weeks of age. The sessions can and normally do last up to 3 hours. For these sessions the baby is definately in control. Now coming from the south, I know some moms don't want to bring their babies out of the home for a few weeks. We do offer In Home Sessions for Newborns of their own space and you don't miss those beautiful sleeping baby shot, the cuddely sleeping shots with the parents, etc.

Prayer and Redemption-Alter Ego is finally completed

Yay!! I'm so excited to have finally completed this project. I knew when God gave me the vision for Prayer and Redemption that it would be special, but as I worked on this session and the images I found answers of my own. Alter Egos is a so much fun, but I found in this project that is it can also be a source of what you see in your spirit manifested in print.

Well more on that later...I hope you will enjoy this finished project. The final image took about 2 days and some hours to complete but it was well worth it!

Alter Ego Sessions are here....Alter Ego portraits are unique images that depict you and the other you hiding inside. I am so excited to finally be able to offer these sessions and with Seniors starting to book their sessions...It gives them something special for one of their senior session options. This is an artistic product and requires a lot of work. The samples below took 3 hours and editing is 4 1/2 hours each, minimum. I love being challenged and I love to learn new things so we had a lot of fun.....I would love to hear your comments on our Alter Ego's !!! Each session is different, Each Alter Ego is different and I would love to capture yours... I did the hair/makeup for Andrea below, however; Rosie Moreno can be available upon request for makeup applications. Client is responsible for hair preparation. I can assist as needed.

So Many new ideas flowing

I love when new ideas for photography flood through my mind but not at 4:00 a.m. in the morning...Yes I have been awake since 4:00 a.m. this morning with so many ideas for sessions, set ideas for babies, Alter Ego's and so much more. My mind has been flooded. So here I am up at my regular time and trying to decide what to do first....Bring in the models for the Alter Ego Sessions.....Design set ideas for newborns with different props/materials ideas etc....I love when God gives me new things, yet sometimes I wish it was at 8:00 a.m. instead of 4:00 a.m.

Needless to say, I have work ahead of me....Have your ever thought of what your alter ego is? You know your playful self with the 9-5 person....or the baseball playing child w/his button down, shades wearing cool self? or better yet the construction worker/lawyer/sexy hunk... I've considered many times long ago if doing Alter Ego sessions would fit into my style and the thoughts have come around again....So with my cup of coffee in my hands to hold open my eyes..pen/paper in hand....I sketch out what and how this is to be done......I look forward to sharing my new ideas with you.

Newborn and Maternity Models Needed

Our search is on for new faces for our studio for Newborn and Maternity models. Click on the image below to see the details and call the studio or email us today to set up your Model session. **Even if you choose not to purchase any of the images, each model will receive a 8x12 for their time.....Please note these are model sessions for new ideas we are adding to our studio and we have specific ideas that we are photographing for.....Newborn sessions can last up to 2 hours and can include the parents. Maternity sessions will include non traditional sets to include...being wrapped in fabric, silhouette Maternity, special gowns, etc....Please keep this im mind.....Newborns must be 4weeks of age or younger at the time of the session...Please have proof of birth.....Newborns are best photographed from birth to 2 weeks of age.

Walking into new things

This morning has been a morning of seeing and understand....revelation and direction. About a month ago, I was notified that a friend's father was now on Hospice care. I immediately said we need to do a Aarron's Journey Session with them. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time the Aarron's Journey session but she blessed me by asking if I would take photos at the homegoing for her dad. I was scared to say the least. Scared because this is not a normal request but I wanted to do my part in helping her along the grieving process. The service was beautiful and even though I hurt to see her in pain, the camera separated me from what was actually going on and I could capture the memories that I would want for myself...

Then an amazing thing happened, I was reminded that I took funeral photos of son over 13 years ago. I have looked at those photos many times. When I recently launched my Aarron's Journey website, I saw those images and I knew what they were but it was not until this morning that God chose to make things clear to me. I had no thought of being a photographer at that time, I just didn't want to forget his face and what I was facing at that time. At that moment a lot things became clear to me. I have been going back & forth as to if I was to offer Funeral Photography Services and today I know that I am. Even today images of my son's homegoing bring an inner peace and I am so glad that I have them. I will give that to others. I will posting more infomation about our Funeral Photography Services on our website soon as I am currently updating the website. Today is the first day that the studio has been open since the week before Christmas. I really need the time off to reflect, renew & relax. It gave me time to take care of some personal things and even though I didn't think that I would, some work also. During my time off I realize some things about myself. I needed to find me! I'm finding me! This is a time of exploration as we begin our new year because it gives us the opportunity to start anew in every area of our lives. One of the greatest things that I learned for myself was I have to remain true to my heart. In business sometimes you are so focused on making the business work that you can forget your true goal and purpose. I have a heart to capture love and relationship and the real person. In order to do that is to remain true to the Heart. In order to do that, you have to first put things into perspective and in order.

So today I am on a new journey. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lynette Bradshaw a child of God. Yes I am a Christian, a woman, a wife, a mother, a friend and a business owner in that order. I am a photographer that strives and desires to photograph a person's heart and their true self. My style of photography has been described as thought provoking, intimate, peaceful and calm. I am refocusing on doing that. As God leads me through this new journey, i pray you will walk with me and continue to allow me to capture the essence of you and your families to become your lifetime photographer. It has been a pleasure to meet you and have the opportunity to work with you in this past year. I look forward to all the changes, enhancements, and new directions that we will embrace this year.

Thank you following along with my blog and my ramblings. Thank you for being awesome clients that some have turned into great friendships. Thank you trusting you memories to me through photography. For each compliment you have given me has encouraged me to continue to do what I do. For each time you have cried when you saw your images that told me I had touched your heart. I am so excited to be bringing this back to our studio. I am currently designing the sets for you to choose from. I can tell you some of the rules that will apply for these sessions:

K-11th grade
1 child per package
Packages start at $35 (sales tax additional)
1 set/1 outfit
5 minute sessions
Prepayment of package selection to book appointment

She Overcame-Women Overcoming Cancer

September 2009 will begin our 1st Annual September-Women Overcoming Month at our studio. This is a 4 part program. 1) We will offer sessions for women overcoming Cancer for a minimal fee, 2) Once all sessions are completed we load all the images from the session to our blog and family and friends will vote on thier favorite overcomer 3) The winner will win a Free Session & a 16x20 Portrait with their Family (spouse/children) or a Silk Elegance Boudoir session & a 16x20 Portrait. She will be The Face of our September Women Overcoming for the next year. A portrait is a Image. An Image creates a vision. The 1st session is to photograph you for you. The winning session is for you and/or your family. Seeing yourself in an image of beauty and victory is a constant reminder that you have overcome. My goal for the sessions is to capture the beauty and strength of each women.

Photography Tips-Finding the light

Hi Everyone,
Here is my second Photography Tip...You don't have to be a professional to take a great photo. One of the biggest things is to find the light. Photography is simply painting with light. Light can make or break a photo. When you are outside, always put the sun/light behind the person/thing you are photographing. You will probably have to use the flash on your camera to make sure the subject doesn't go too dark. When you are inside, you will need a fast ISO on your camera, such as 400, 800, etc. If your camera can not go that high, go as high as it allows and use your flash. Keep in mind that if there isn't any light on what is behind your subject, it will go dark. Take time and put your subject in a great spot, frame them and take the image. Focus on the subject and not the things around them but keep a eye on extra light shining on them from other sources.

Photography Tips-Part One-Capturing the Moment

Hi Everyone,

I know a lot of you have digital cameras so I wanted to start a series of help topics on how you can take better photos or see your photos in a whole new light. I know someone of you may not need this, but for others it can be useful information.

Part One-Capturing the moment
Photography comes from the heart. To photograph those things/subjects that make you happy is a joy. Take for instance, our children. They do things during the day that are so special to us...whether it is making a face or just being themselves...capture those special moments in portraits. It doesn't have to be a perfect shot, but it is a memory. At that very moment they are being who they are and that means more than lighting, posing or anything else. When you look at a scene, try to focus on what's important in front of you. If it is your child or a flower, forget about everything that surrounds the subject and zoom in to capture that special person or thing. Move with your feet closer to what you are looking at. I love my sons eyes so when I photograph him, I usually focus on his beautiful brown eyes. They speak to me and make me feel good. As my daughter is dancing in a circle I'm not going to take time to stop her and say go into the studio so I photograph you, I'm going to grab my point and shoot and photograph her right then while she is in the moment.....capturing the memory.

The Aarron's Journey Project-"Pete"

I photographed Anchestinique Ceshawn "Pete" Watkins-Tyson in January 2008. I knew the struggle she was having with her health and when I saw her one day, she just glowed. I told her I wanted to photograph her and capture that. I am so glad I did because on June 9, 2009 her fight had come to an end. This video is one that will be given to her Mom as a part of our Aaron's Journey Project so that her family can remember her at this beautiful moment in her life. Please read about my Aarron's Journey Project in memory of my son Aarron. If you know of someone that can be blessed with this project please call the studio.

Aarron's Journey-Lasting Moments:
In 2007 I began to pray and asked God to allow me to be able to use my gift of photography in a way that would bring Glory to him and a gift to others. I thought of joining the network of Photographers for "Now Lay Me Down To Sleep, but didn't think I could do it. Now lay me down to sleep is a network of photographers that go to hospitals and photograph babies that won't leave the hospital. After saying goodbye to my son, Aaron, in 1996 2 hours after he was born, I knew this would be too hard for me. However; one of the things that I wish the most is that I had a portrait with him.

So out of that desire, God gave me the vision of photographing families that have terminally ill family members and present them with a DVD of images that they will cherish for years to come. I am in the process now of putting together information to submit to Hospice Organizations to begin my new venture, "Aaron's Journey". I know it will bring lasting memories to those that are left here on earth long after their love one has passed on.

We had the pleasure of working with some beautiful ladies recently in the studio. Audrey and Lexie are past clients as we have photographed Lexie since she was 4, I believe, for soccer and most recently for softball. I had so much fun in there session. They laughed with each other and have a relationship together that is so special. I love mommie/daughter relationships. Audrey is so beautiful and in these images she looks amazing. Once I was able to get Lexie to stop giggling, I saw a beautiful expression...As soon as that was over, she was giggling again. Thanks ladies for coming into the studio.....I appreciate you so much....

Networking Mixer

My husband and I had the great opportunity last night of going to a Networking Mixer in the Arts District. I had never been to the Arts District...We need to get out more:) We met so many business owners and some really nice people. I saw Nanette Lee that formally was with K104, Eric B from 97.9 The Beat....and so many more...I was blessed to be invited and to have our business as one the businesses on display...They played a DVD that I created showing samples of our work and just seeing it up on the flat screen, I was awestruck....Now I'm not tuting my own horn, but to see my work up on the screen for everyone to see almost made me cry...I would like to thank my former client, Phil, for contacting us and thinking of Lynette Bradshaw Photography. I gained some insights from Eric B and I am ready to move in a new direction to see our business blossom to its full potential...
